YARIE’s BF Ring is a split ring designed with thick-diameter wire, offering a compact profile while making it easy to choose the required strength. Compared with standard split rings in similar size ranges, it provides enhanced durability without making the connection points between lures, hooks, and line unnecessarily large, making it easier to select the appropriate strength for each application.
Available sizes include #1.5 rated at 25 lb, #2.5 at 55 lb, #3.5 at 65 lb, #4.5 at 80 lb, #5.5 at 110 lb, and #6.5 at 120 lb. The range offers fine size increments, from the #1.5, well suited to 4–10 g-class lures, up to the #6.5, which accommodates 80–150 g-class lures. The #2.5–#3.5 sizes are well suited to 10–50 g-class jigs and lures, the #4.5 to 30–70 g-class models, and the #5.5 to 60–110 g-class jigs and lures, allowing you to select the appropriate size according to lure weight and connection-point balance.
When replacing a lure eye or hook, install the ring using split ring pliers or similar tools. The basic approach is to choose a size with the required strength while avoiding a ring that is unnecessarily large for the lure.
