Blueblue Gaboz!!!

BlueBlue’s Gaboz!!! is a surface-oriented swimming popper that combines the fish-attracting power of a popper with the swimming action of a minnow. Its refined body design keeps it from diving easily on retrieves ranging from dead slow to medium-fast, producing a rolling action while creating a wake across the surface. It can be worked with anything from short pops to long dives, and also responds to presentations that incorporate a side-to-side head swing. By combining retrieves and popping, its surface presentation can be varied to keep fish engaged.

The Gaboz 150 measures 150 mm and weighs 42 g, and is equipped with three #2 hooks and #4 rings. Short pops produce splashes, while medium pops create a popping sound. With a long jerk performed by pulling the rod parallel to the water’s surface, it produces a long dive accompanied by bubbles and splashes. It also features two types of rattle sounds, adding an audible element to its surface presentation. The Gaboz 65 measures 65 mm and weighs 6 g, and comes equipped with two #10 hooks. Its more compact size makes the basic actions of popping and creating a surface wake easy to control. Since both models dive very little, they are well suited for use in shallow areas and directly on the surface where avoiding snags is important.
