TICT’s BULL HEAD is designed to enhance the underwater presence of a lightweight jig head—which can otherwise be difficult to feel—by using the water resistance created by its cup-shaped head, making it suitable for slow presentations. The cup-shaped design catches the current and generates water-pushing vibrations, while allowing the jig head to sink on a straight, stable fall when free-falling. On a flat bottom, it can also stand vertically during a bottom stay, although the 2.0 g model is not intended for this use.
The hook is made from high-carbon material that combines high strength with low weight, and its strength is further increased through a flattened forging process. The point is designed to stay sharp for longer, while the original open-gape design is intended to capitalize on the brief moment before a fish spits the hook. The worm keeper features raised sections to help reduce worm slippage, such as after a missed bite. The standard model is available from 0.6 to 2.0 g. For ajing, the basic technique is a lift-and-fall presentation with the jig head alone, making small weight changes above or below the standard weight to adjust the sinking speed.
