Big Ocean’s Fishing Fighters assist lines are designed for making assist hooks, allowing you to choose the desired flexibility, stiffness, and setting options according to the core material. Marine Black KC features a high-strength DuPont Kevlar core, balancing strength and suppleness. Designed with a focus on hooking performance that takes advantage of its flexibility, which makes it easier for fish to inhale, it is suitable for front assists on high-pitch jigs and rear hooks on slow jigs where softness is preferred.

Marine Black DC features a straight, high-strength nylon core of the type also used for military applications. It is designed so that the inner surface of the line becomes smooth when the core is removed. Using the dedicated needle, you can create a chichi-wa loop, and the hollow space left after removing the core can be filled with leader material such as nylon or fluorocarbon to give the assist hook added stiffness. Marine Black POLYMERCORE uses a special monopolymer material with a specific gravity between that of fluorocarbon and polyester as its core. It offers moderate stiffness and helps prevent the line from wrapping around the jig, making it suitable for front assists on high-pitch jigs and front hooks on slow jigs. Choose according to your purpose: Kevlar Core for maximum suppleness, Double Core for easy processing and adjustable stiffness, or Polymer Core for a high degree of stiffness.
