Shout! TC Hard Gap Spark

Shout!’s TC Hard Gap Spark is a staggered twin assist rig combining fluorocarbon-coated Spark Hooks with PE line featuring an ester core. The hooks use a TC fluorocarbon coating, while the lines are made from stiff, ester-core PE line. The two assist lines are different lengths, helping to reduce tangling with the jig or leader. A press ring is used at the connection point, allowing the rig to be attached to a jig in its pre-assembled configuration.

The lineup offers hook sizes designed for nearshore species such as amberjack, red sea bream, and rockfish. For the 333HG, the staggered lengths are as follows: hook size 2 has PE lengths of 1 cm and 2 cm; size 1, 1 cm and 2.5 cm; sizes 1/0–3/0, 2 cm and 3.5 cm; size 4/0, 2 cm and 4 cm; and size 5/0, 2.5 cm and 4.5 cm. PE line strength is also matched to the hook size: sizes 2 and 1 use 50 lb, sizes 1/0–3/0 use 80 lb, and sizes 4/0 and 5/0 use 100 lb. Select the hook size and assist length to match the jig size and target species, and use it as a front or rear assist hook.
