Shout! Ringed Kudako

SHOUT!’s Ringed Kudako is a single hook based on the proven Kudako, modified with a ring to increase hook mobility when paired with casting plugs. It features the Kudako’s signature Big Up Eye (outward-bent ring), long-tapered hook point, and heavy-duty wire. Its design makes it easier to transfer the load to the gape after the hook point begins to penetrate, while the holding gape helps keep hooked fish securely pinned.

Welded rings are fitted to sizes 5/0 and smaller, while high-strength pressed rings are used on sizes 6/0 and larger. Connecting the plug’s rear eye and the Ringed Kudako with a split ring allows the hook to move flexibly in relation to the plug, creating a setup that is less likely to interfere with the lure’s action. Available in sizes 1/0 through 9/0, the 1/0–4/0 sizes come four per pack, the 5/0 comes three per pack, and the pack quantity for sizes 6/0–9/0 is not specified. This model is well suited for replacing hooks on casting plugs or converting them to single hooks.
