tailwalk’s BARI YABAI JIG is a semi-long jig developed under the supervision of Tatsuki-maru of Kyushu’s Genkai-nada, featuring sharp jerking action and a sliding fall. Its rhombus-shaped body produces intense flash as it changes angle underwater, while appealing to fish with a sliding fall. The standard silhouette is designed for a wide range of species, including yellowtail amberjack and Japanese amberjack.

The body is made with high-density lead and features sharp edges reminiscent of a Japanese sword. The water-cutting edges and tapered head shape reduce water resistance, allowing responsive jig control with minimal input. It is easy to produce sharp darts in the desired direction, with a crisp action during the jerk and a flashing, sliding fall created by the rhombus-shaped body.

The 120 g, 150 g, and 180 g models all share a total length of 180 mm, with the weight adjusted by changing the body height. They are suited to situations where you want to make the jig dart while minimizing input, as well as presentations that combine jerking and falling actions to trigger strikes.
