Tailwalk’s Tai Game SD features a hybrid blank that combines different materials, designed to achieve the natural “loading” performance required for tai-rubber fishing. The tip-to-belly section uses 24T carbon full-solid construction, combining suppleness with strength, while the butt section features a glass-composite carbon tubular blank with excellent resilience and recovery. The center-cut two-piece construction and longitudinal fiber arrangement create a smooth, continuous bending curve that is less likely to change unnaturally at the joint. The slow-taper blank absorbs the sudden runs of red sea bream and flexibly follows the load.

All models feature Fuji SiC ring guides. The baitcasting models use a spiral guide setting to reduce tip twisting and line tangles, along with a Fuji PULS reel seat designed for a palming grip. The C510XUL/LSL is an ultra-flexible short model suited to depths of 50 m or less, smaller fish, and tough conditions. The C510UL/LSL combines the maneuverability of a short rod with a natural loading action that minimizes unnatural resistance. The C67UL/LSL is a versatile standard-length model with a flexible action, suitable mainly for shallow water. The C67L/LSL features a sensitive tip that detects bites during low activity and handles everything from vertical fishing to drift fishing with the boat in a sideways, or dotera, position. The C67ML/LSL is an all-purpose model suitable for a wide range of depths and drift styles, while the C67M/LSL is a powerful model intended for deep water, dotera drifting, and heavier tai-rubber rigs. The maximum tai-rubber weights range from 180 to 250 g depending on the model, with maximum PE line ratings of 0.8 to 1.2.
