Shimano OCEA Betchu Hiramasa 190F Flash Boost

The SHIMANO OCEA BETTYU HIRAMASA 190F FLASH BOOST is a floating pencil lure based on the original OCEA Pencil BETTYU HIRAMASA 190F. Combining Flash Boost with newly designed weights, it is tuned for improved water grip and controllability. The heavier weight is positioned farther toward the rear to help the lure quickly recover its posture after a jerk, reducing missed dives while making it easier to produce a complex slaloming action. The 190 mm, 73 g body is also designed to deliver stable casting distance.

Flash Boost features a mirror-finished reflector suspended inside the body by a spring. It produces flashes not only during the diving action but also while the lure is stationary after a jerk, reacting to waves and vibrations. Scale Boost is used in all colors, providing a visual appeal with holograms that mimic baitfish scales. The lure can be worked with anything from a steady retrieve to combinations of short or long jerks and pauses. Hooks are not included. Size #3/0 treble hooks are recommended, while single hooks weighing approximately 5–7 g each can be adjusted to suit the tackle being used and the desired action.
