Shimano Hirame Minnow SR 150S AR-C

SHIMANO’s Netsusa Hirame Minnow SR 150S AR-C is a sinking shallow runner designed to combine the strong presence of a big minnow’s large silhouette with long-casting performance. Large-bodied lures tend to create greater air resistance, making it difficult to achieve sufficient casting distance. To address this, the lure is equipped with the AR-C VR System inside the body. During the cast, the internal weight moves toward the rear to stabilize the flight, then returns after splashdown, resulting in quick start-up and a stable action. Despite its 150 mm body length, this model is designed to achieve an average casting distance of over 70 m, making it suitable for searching offshore areas across expansive surf beaches.

During the retrieve, it produces a natural wobble-and-roll action. As a sinking model, the swimming depth can be adjusted easily by varying the countdown after splashdown and the retrieve speed. This allows it to be used from near-surface shallow water to precise depth control according to current and wave conditions. Easy to use as a minnow for targeting flounder and flathead in shallow surf, it can be steadily retrieved to search a wide area or worked across changes in bottom structure by varying the landing point and the start of the retrieve. It measures 150 mm in length, weighs 30 g, and is a sinking type equipped with three No. 4 treble hooks.
