Shimano Salty Advance Shore Jigging

The Shimano SALTY ADVANCE SHORE MODEL is a shore jigging series consisting of five models with different power ratings and lengths, designed for shore-casting games targeting migratory fish. The S96M is an easy-to-handle, medium-power technical model for targeting small pelagic species such as yellowtail, bluefish, and mackerel. The S100M emphasizes long-distance casting by taking advantage of its length and is also suitable for fishing from elevated platforms such as breakwaters. The S96MH is a medium-heavy model designed for easily handling good-sized pelagic fish and heavier-class jigs. The S100MH adds enhanced casting distance to its power, making it a long-cast model, while the S100H is a heavy-spec model designed for casting jigs in the 100 g class and fighting large pelagic fish.

K guides are used to help reduce tangles with PE line, with the rings angled toward the tip to facilitate smooth line passage. The reel seat features a nut ring that is easy to tighten and helps reduce discomfort when it comes into contact with the hand. All models are two-piece rods. Maximum jig weights are 40 g for the S96M and S100M, 60 g for the S96MH and S100MH, and 80 g for the S100H. Choose the model according to the size of the pelagic fish targeted, the weight of the jig being used, the casting distance required, and the fishing position.
