JACKALL’s PEKETAIL TIDEPEPPER 2″ is a straight worm designed to naturally target finicky conditions, including krill and micro-bait patterns. It features a slim, completely ribless body—a design not found in the existing PEKE series. Its shape allows water to flow smoothly over the body, producing subtle vibrations while minimizing excessive appeal.
The body uses a relatively soft material that bends easily, while its trapezoidal cross-section allows the action to quickly settle after deformation. The repeated flexing and recovery generate a high-frequency, finely trembling action. A cross-shaped section at the base of the tail creates a moderate amount of resistance while streamlining water flow, helping stabilize the movement of the entire worm. The slim pintail moves with such delicacy that it continues to quiver even while stationary, enticing fish spontaneously during pauses.
Rig it on a jig head or similar setup and combine a steady retrieve with light lifts, falls, and pauses for finesse presentations that draw bites with subtle vibrations.
