Jackall Bigbacker Jig

JACKALL’s BIGBACKER JIG SLIDE STICK is a metal jig designed with an emphasis on sliding action during jerks and enticing movement on the fall, in contrast to the original model, which prioritizes casting distance. Its slim, elongated body cuts through the current easily, producing a sharp, erratic sideways-sliding action when jerked. During its seesaw fall, it maintains a horizontal posture, attracting fish with flash and vibration.

Its front-weighted design helps prevent the jig from breaking the surface when retrieved quickly near the surface. Combined with its long-duration horizontal fall, it is also suitable for casting at feeding frenzies. JACKALL recommends a one-pitch jerk using line slack for pelagic fish, while slow lift-and-fall presentations are suggested for bottom-dwelling fish and cutlassfish. To match the body’s wide-ranging movement, the jig comes standard with twin hooks on the front only—a setup designed to minimize tangles during the action while promoting solid hooksets. The 30g model measures 85mm, while the 40g model measures 93mm, with weights designed to balance long-distance casting performance and ease of control.
