TENRYU’s JIG-ZAM WILD MARK is a jigging rod series built around a “Light & Tough” concept that combines elements of light jigging and inshore jigging. Its supple yet responsive, flexible blank makes it easy to control the jig’s input speed and line slack, achieving both delicate maneuverability and the power to tenaciously handle heavy loads.
Carbon Nanotube material C.N.T. is composited into the blank’s butt section to enhance its resilience. The rods feature K guides with stainless steel frames and SiC rings, while the reel seat area uses a Nishijin-ori carbon pipe. Spinning models are equipped with DPS reel seats. These models are suited to swimming-style retrieves that transition from casting to diagonal jigging, as well as lateral sliding jerks that use the strength of the rod’s midsection to maintain longer line slack. The JWM611S-2/4 is a standard inshore model that handles depths of 60–120 m and jigs weighing approximately 130–200 g with ease. It presents the jig naturally while providing the power needed to fight fish around structure in shallow water. The JWM611S-0/2 and JWM611S-1/3 are designed for lighter jigs and shallower depths, while the JWM5101B-5 is suited to heavier jigs and areas with strong currents. Baitcasting models make it easy to perform a consistent one-pitch jerk, and the series allows anglers to select the appropriate model according to water depth, current strength, and jig weight.
