Atec Crazy Light Shore Jig

alphatackle’s CRAZEE LIGHT SHOREJIG is a lightweight, highly maneuverable rod designed for light shore jigging with a run-and-gun approach across steep-drop beaches, fishing ports, bays, rocky shores, and offshore breakwaters. Built for easy handling even when waiting for migrating fish to arrive, it combines a responsive tip for twitching metal jigs with the butt power needed to launch jigs well offshore. The lineup is designed for targeting species such as Spanish mackerel, bonito, cutlassfish, mackerel, young yellowtail, flounder, amberjack, trevally, and sea bass.

The lineup consists of three models: the S962ML for lures up to 35 g, and the S902M and S962M for lures up to 40 g. With its 9-foot length and excellent maneuverability, the S902M is configured for fishing while moving from one spot to another. The S962M handles the same lure weight of up to 40 g as the S902M, but its 9-foot 6-inch length makes it easier to target offshore feeding frenzies. The S962ML is rated for the lightest lures in the series, making it well suited to handling lightweight metal jigs. All models feature a two-piece construction and are designed for casting metal jigs from shore-based locations such as breakwaters and beaches, then working them with techniques such as twitching.
