Atec Ajist Torzite

ATEC’s AJIST TZ is a lightweight, sensitivity-focused ajing rod designed to clearly convey the subtle bites and information essential for ajing. Built primarily with ultra-high-modulus carbon and incorporating a high proportion of 40T carbon, it is equipped with titanium-frame Torzite ring guides. Components around the grip have been kept as compact as possible, achieving approximately 25% weight reduction compared with the previous series at equivalent lengths. The blank uses an unground, unpainted micro-pitch construction, densely wrapping the material to achieve both light weight and strength.

The tip uses a 30T carbon solid tip, offering a supple action that is less likely to bounce off bites while maintaining clear sensitivity. The S56/SL and S60/SL feature long solid tips measuring 380 mm overall, suited to operating lightweight jig heads at close range and detecting changes in current. The S66/SL and S70/SL use short solid tips measuring 260 mm overall, prioritizing control with slightly heavier jig heads and hook-setting response at long range. The butt end incorporates Feedback Booster Technology, featuring an opening that directs vibrations transmitted through the blank to the angler’s hand. The S56/SL and S60/SL are designed for close-range jig-only fishing; the S66/SL is suited to jig heads around 1.5 g; and the S70/SL handles jig-only rigs around 2 g, as well as Carolina rigs and float rigs.
