Eclipse Balor 130

ECLIPSE’s Valor 130 is the long-size model in the Valor series, developed primarily for slow retrieves just beneath the surface. Its slender body combined with a rear-weighted design delivers a stable flight attitude with its 20 g weight. It is suited not only to long casts for covering a wide area, but also to slowly working distant structure and current seams near the surface.

Its running depth is 0–40 cm just below the water’s surface. In addition to the buoyancy inherited from the Valor 90, its curved body shape and weight balance allow it to quickly rise to the surface once the retrieve begins. Its action, centered around a natural rolling motion, complements the slender profile: it swims gently on a standard straight retrieve, while increasing the retrieve speed adds an irregular tail slide. Raising the rod tip or increasing the retrieve speed also enables an ultra-shallow presentation that creates a wake. Designed for bait patterns including anchovies, young mullet, silver-stripe round herring, halfbeaks, and long-bodied ragworms, it is well suited to situations where bait gathers near the surface and to fishing in shallow areas. It measures 130 mm in length, weighs 20 g, and is equipped with size #6 hooks and size #3 split rings.
