Hayabusa Spoon Blade

Have fun with bait from HAYABUSA. The Bait Spoon Blade is designed around the concept of attracting fish with a spoon like a lure, then enticing them to bite with natural bait. A fish-attracting blade is paired with a lead spoon: during the retrieve, the spoon moves with an enticing wobble while the blade appeals with flashes and vibration. The spoon and blade are linked to create an action unlike that of a conventional spoon, with a distinctive snaking motion during a steady retrieve and a fluttering fall like a falling leaf on the drop. The blade features a holographic finish, adding flash to its action and further attracting fish.

In addition to a steady retrieve, it can be worked with stop-and-go and lift-and-fall techniques, with the basic approach being to search the water while combining retrieves and drops. Its spoon shape is designed to position the hook point upward when it reaches the bottom, making it suitable for bottom-oriented presentations. It can be used with strips of squid, cut fish bait, ragworm, and other baits. Using thinner strips of squid or fish helps maximize the lure’s action, while adjusting the bait length can also alter hook-up performance. The hook is a Chinu-style hook with an eye and a rust-resistant tin-plated finish. Available in 10 g, 15 g, 20 g, and 30 g sizes, it can be selected according to the tackle, water depth, and current when fishing from breakwaters or sandy beaches.
