UNITIKA’s Eging PE X8 Multi-Color is a PE line designed for eging, featuring an 8-strand braided construction that helps send squid jigs farther. Carefully braided with an emphasis on roundness, its smooth profile is designed with casting distance in mind. With a specific gravity of 0.98, this floating line is suitable not only for shore eging but also for boat eging and Ika Metal fishing.
The line is divided into three colors at 10-meter intervals, with 1-meter markings on each color. Purple markings are also added every 5 meters, providing good visibility while making it easy to determine how much line has been released after casting. This helps confirm the distance of a squid jig and manage the amount of line released according to changes in water depth when fishing from a boat. With the roundness of an 8-strand braid and the characteristic performance of a floating line, it is a PE line designed primarily for eging and other saltwater fishing applications.
