Unitika Medium Density PE Line

UNITIKA’s medium-density PE line is designed for light-game fishing, combining the buoyancy of PE line with a slow-sinking characteristic. By braiding ester fibers into the PE material, it achieves a medium density that differs from standard PE lines. Rather than sinking rapidly into the water, the line descends slowly, making it suitable for situations where you want to work a lure slightly below the surface or search a consistent depth while monitoring the line’s position.

The line is available in yellow and orange, with purple markings applied every 25 meters to make it easier to check the line’s position after casting and during the retrieve. Taking advantage of its material-based sinking characteristics, it allows underwater control of lightweight rigs and small lures while reducing the line’s tendency to float upward. Strength ratings of 2, 3, 4, and 6 lb are available, along with sizes 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.6, all supplied in 150 m spools.
