YAMASHITA’s EGI-OH LIVE is an egi developed for light, easy handling that allows anyone to produce sharp darting action. While maintaining the wide darting range of its predecessor, the EGI-OH Q LIVE, its quick-dart design reduces forward movement by 33%, making it less likely to pass through the target area and helping keep the egi in view of following squid for longer.

The sinker features a Blade Sinker designed from the ground up with a revised material and shape. It uses environmentally considerate tin and has guide holes on the sides for weight tuning. Its low center of gravity also stabilizes performance during darting and the flight attitude when casting. In addition, the eye cup incorporates a touch of 490GLOW, a luminous color considered easy for squid to see, to improve visibility during the action. Available in sizes 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5, this basic type is set with sink rates of approximately 5.5 seconds for sizes 2.0 and 2.5, approximately 3.5 seconds for size 3.0, and approximately 3 seconds for size 3.5. Anglers can produce sharp darting action with rod snaps while adjusting the depth by taking advantage of the different sink rates for each size.
