Megabass X-Blaze

Megabass XBLADZ is a jig pencil designed for casting at nearshore feeding frenzies and enticing strikes with its falling action. Its 117 mm body, inspired by the Japanese anchovy, features a low-center-of-gravity design with increased air volume along the back. During a free fall, it maintains a slightly nose-down posture while wobbling naturally, imitating a baitfish weakly breaking away from the school. Available in 30 g, 40 g, and 50 g weights, it can be selected according to conditions and the tackle being used.

Its distinctive mechanism is MAGHOLD, which secures the front hook to the body with a neodymium magnet. Immediately after landing, it suppresses excessive hook movement to stabilize the lure’s falling posture and hook position. When a fish bites, the hook separates from the belly, helping minimize interference with the hookset. After casting, the lure can be sent into or around the feeding frenzy and worked primarily with a falling action, or retrieved to move the body and attract fish. It comes standard with treble hooks and is designed to accommodate hook setups suited to the target species and size.
