Valleyhill Blue Beak

Valleyhill’s Blue Beak is a metal jig designed with a slender body inspired by small baitfish. It transitions from a sharp sliding action to a fluttering fall, enticing bites as it falls. During a slow, steady retrieve, it produces a tight-pitch wobbling action, while a fast retrieve generates a stable swimming action with a tail-wagging motion, allowing different actions to be drawn out according to the retrieve speed.

In addition to offshore super light jigging, it is also suitable for shore jigging from beaches and seawalls. It can be used with basic lift-and-fall or steady retrieves, and is especially suited to presentations that focus on the fall after the slide. The 30 g model measures 82 mm in length, while the 40 g model measures 90 mm, with the body size varying by weight. Both models come equipped with front twin assist hooks, providing a setup that is ready to use soon after purchase. It can be worked according to the conditions using retrieves ranging from slow to fast, combined with a fall-based presentation.
