VARIVAS Avani IKAMETAL Max Power PE X5 Marking is a PE line designed to prioritize sensitivity through its fine diameter and ease of identifying the depth of the rig when fishing with ikametal jigs. Its vertical-braid construction, produced using the VerticalBraid process, maintains high linearity while keeping stretch in the 3% range. This makes it easier to detect delicate bites from small squid, and because it is less affected by current than conventional PE lines, it helps anglers determine the rig’s position and depth.

It uses the CORE-INPUT process, which adds a high-strength core to X4 base fibers to reduce strength loss caused by line flattening and twisting. In addition, the SP-T II coating covers the line surface with a resin film to improve low water absorption and water shedding, providing enhanced handling with reduced water resistance and load. The line is available in five fluorescent colors for easy visibility at night, with the color changing every 10 m and a 5 cm black pitch marking placed every 1 m. This marking specification makes it easier to work the lure and adjust the fishing depth. It is available in 200 m spools and comes in sizes No. 0.4 and No. 0.5.
