Varivas Assist Hook

VARIVAS Avani Ocean Works Assist Hooks are saltwater assist hooks designed to enhance the appeal and hooking performance of metal jigs. Wing Flash combines aurora-finished natural mackerel skin with aurora thread, creating flashes and enticing movement in sync with the jig’s action. Twin Assist Super Light Dancer features a twin configuration with two assist hooks, making it well suited to light jigs.

The hook surface features a Zero Friction Coating. Combined with the fine-gauge wire and smooth surface, this design allows the hook point to penetrate easily around the fish’s mouth. The assist leader uses VARIVAS Assist Leader SMP, made with Super Max Power PE. It offers greater abrasion resistance and durability than standard PE, while its special coating helps reduce water absorption and deterioration caused by ultraviolet rays. Its moderate flexibility also allows it to be rigged on the front or rear ring of a metal jig. Choose Wing Flash when you want to add flash and visual appeal, or Twin Assist Super Light Dancer for light-jig setups where two hooks provide more opportunities for hookups, depending on the configuration of each model.
