DUO’s ROUGH TRAIL BUBBLY is a slim-profile popper designed with the casting distance, ease of use, and durability required for offshore casting. As part of the ROUGH TRAIL series, it features a stable flight posture that is less affected by wind direction, along with a balance that helps prevent rolling on the surface and makes it easy to impart action. The lineup includes the 135F, 185F, and 225F, allowing anglers to select the appropriate size according to bait size and fish activity and build an effective lure rotation.

Its basic action is a popping retrieve that creates bubbles and splashes with the cup face, while rod manipulation and the amount of line slack allow anglers to produce a wide range of actions, including side-to-side flashing, flashing, underwater darts, and diving. During pauses, the body sways subtly, and the lure can handle everything from a fast-paced retrieve to a slow presentation depending on the retrieve speed and rod work. The 185F measures 185 mm and weighs 77 g, featuring a fixed-weight, floating design. It is intended for treble hooks in the #3/0–#4/0 range and single hooks in the #4/0–#5/0 range. Hooks are not included, and the floating posture and action change depending on the weight and setup of the hooks used, allowing anglers to fine-tune the lure to achieve their desired action. Designed for topwater games targeting yellowtail amberjack, Japanese amberjack, giant trevally, tuna, and other species, it can be used for everything from aggressive popping retrieves to subtle presentations that limit forward movement.
