DUO Deprive

DUO’s DEPRIVE is a collaborative model developed by DUO and COREMAN, designed as a big bait that fits everyday sea bass fishing. DUO handled the hardware aspects, including the design and development, while COREMAN was responsible for the software aspects, such as the action and fine-tuning. The 170 mm, 50 g body produces a seductive S-shaped action unique to its two-joint design, with another defining feature being the subtle change in action that breaks up the slalom and creates an exquisite pause mid-retrieve.

The joint section features a unique connection mechanism designed to create a slight twist in the body. As water flows across the joint surfaces during the retrieve, it delivers a smooth start-up and a solid, distinct feel while winding. Its buoyancy is set up as slow-sinking in freshwater and slow-floating in saltwater, creating a near-suspending action suited to sea bass fishing targeting voluminous baitfish such as konoshiro and Japanese sardines. It is also easy to use during periods when targeting spawning sweetfish in rivers, and is well suited to presentations that rely on the retrieve to send the lure into the current. #2 hooks are fitted.
