DUO Beach Walker Haul

DUO’s Beach Walker Haul series is designed to efficiently search the area near the bottom in surf conditions by combining a jig head with a soft lure. The Grub Set combines a 4-inch grub worm with a Haul Head and hook. Its distinctive wide tail produces vibration and silhouette changes that differ from those of a shad.

The grub tail has an irregular shape with different outlines on its inner and outer sides, changing its action and silhouette in response to variations in current strength and retrieve speed. When it catches the current, the tail changes shape and attracts fish by flexibly agitating the water. Once rigged on the Haul Head, confirm that the lure has reached the bottom after casting, then use a steady retrieve at a speed that avoids excessively scraping the bottom as the basic presentation. It also supports stop-and-go and lift-and-fall techniques. During the retrieve, the tail’s vibration attracts fish, while pausing creates a fall that gives them time to strike. The Grub Set can be used with the hook already rigged; simply remove it after checking the worm’s orientation and hook position, and it is ready to fish. Multiple head weights are available, allowing you to choose according to casting distance, water depth, and current strength.
