DUO Terrif DC-9 Bullet

The DUO TERRIF DC-9 BULLET is a minnow designed to stably track a shallow range even when affected by changes in current and retrieve speed. Its add-on mounting lip suppresses fluctuations in swimming depth caused by water resistance, allowing anglers to cover a wide range of retrieve speeds at approximately 40 cm below the surface. The 90 mm, 15 g body features a magnet-secured weight system, and, combined with its well-balanced design, maintains action response even during high-speed retrieves. Its action is a rolling action, providing a distinct feel that is close to that of a conventional minnow.

The basic technique is a straight retrieve. During a natural drift with the current, it continues to track the intended range without diving too deeply, even when resistance from the current increases after the lure turns. In addition to casting down and across the current and retrieving slowly, it is designed to run just below the surface during high-speed retrieves, even in situations where minnows tend to dive too deeply or lipless lures tend to break through the surface. With rod work, it can also produce a sharp darting action with pronounced side-to-side flashing. It is a floating lure equipped with #4 hooks and is tuned to become slow-sinking in freshwater.
