Decoy (katsuichi) Sabiki Leader Light

KATSUICHI’s DECOY SABIKI Leader Light is a sabiki leader designed for light-game fishing, allowing anglers to easily target small baitfish and other small species with Mebaru and Ajing tackle. It is intended for exploring other small fish while fishing for horse mackerel or rockfish, as well as targeting sardines and other species without using bait.

The rig uses small Ajing hooks that are easy to set in the small mouths of sardines and horse mackerel. A long lower branch line is incorporated to make the rig easy to hold when landing hooked fish and to help prevent tangles. It connects to the main line of light tackle, with a lure or rig attached to the terminal end, adding a sabiki element to standard lure fishing. Available in sizes 3S and SS, it can be selected to match the size of the baitfish and target species. This model adds a small-fish presentation different from using a lure alone while maintaining the handling feel of light-game tackle.
