Decoy (katsuichi) TH-ivG Tachi Chaser

DECOY’s Tachi Chaser TH-4 TH-ⅣG is a trailer hook for hairtail worm fishing that adds glow fiber to the “Chaser,” creating a model that attracts fish with light emitted from the underside of the worm. The glow fiber not only makes the lure visible to hairtail in low-light conditions, but is also designed to generate vibration when attached to the worm’s underside, enticing bites.

It features an oval eye that helps maximize the hook’s movement as a trailer hook, combined with a round-bend shape and straight point that make it easier to catch the hairtail’s long, narrow mouth. The stopper is equipped with an i-Guard, allowing the hook to be attached simply by threading it through the treble hook set in the worm. By positioning the stopper against the worm’s underside and threading the hook through the i-Guard, the hook can be aligned easily and straight with the main hook. In addition to use as a trailer for hairtail worm fishing, it can also be used as a trailer for hairtail tenya rigs intended for retrieving presentations. Available in sizes #1 and #1/0.
