Decoy (katsuichi) AS-05SP Pike Sato-mage

KATSUICHI’s DECOY Pike Sato SP AS-05SP is a jigging hook tuned by Hiroshi Sato for slow jigging applications, with improved hooking performance and the ability to keep hooked fish securely pinned. The hook point angle is adjusted for slow-pitch and long-fall jerks, and its design is intended to make it easier to hook fish while reducing snags when actively targeting bottom-dwelling and structure-oriented species.

The strength of the first bend has been increased, while reinforced flattened sections have been applied to the two curves that receive the most force, improving overall shank strength. In addition, the CF finish has been enhanced to improve holding power after the hook-up and reduce fish loss caused by tearing at the mouth, while the barb has also been enlarged. The hook features highly corrosion-resistant tin plating and Aqua Block treatment. Ideal for assist-hook setups in slow jigging and for situations targeting bottom-dwelling or structure-oriented species where hook-point angle and holding power are priorities.
