DAIWA’s OUTRAGE XV BLJ is a spinning rod designed to deliver a well-balanced combination of casting performance, high-speed retrieve performance, and fighting power required for blade jigging. While retaining the rod action of the OUTRAGE series, this model offers the specifications and power needed for use in offshore fields around the world. Its supple tip helps prevent fish from shaking off during the bite, while its powerful butt section is capable of taking on bluefish such as Spanish mackerel and yellowtail.

The butt section of the blank features Braiding X, which uses carbon tape wrapped in an X pattern to reduce twisting. K guides help minimize line tangles, while the center-cut two-piece construction enhances portability. The original reel seat is designed to pair easily with 4000–6000-size spinning reels, and the grip shape provides a secure hold even during high-speed retrieves, making it easier to continue winding blade jigs steadily. The rod is designed for underhand and side casting. The 68MHS accommodates PE line up to No. 1.5 and casting jigs up to 70 g, making it ideal for efficiently covering large shallow areas. The 68HS is an all-round model for PE line up to No. 2 and casting jigs up to 100 g. The 68XHS accommodates PE line up to No. 2 and casting jigs up to 130 g, offering powerful performance suited to deep water and drift fishing with the boat carried by the current and wind.
