Daiwa’s UVF SALTIGA DURA SENSOR×8＋Si2 is a PE line designed for slow-pitch jigging, pursuing high sensitivity and durability. With an elongation of less than 3%, it is designed to make it easier to detect information transmitted while working the jig and is well suited to deep-water fishing.

The line uses new TOUGH PE fibers, each made thicker and closer to a true round shape than conventional fibers, braided into an eight-strand construction. In addition, Daiwa’s proprietary Evo Silicone2 (＋Si2) special silicone treatment is applied to improve abrasion resistance, smoothness, and durability. The abrasion resistance achieved by combining TOUGH PE with Evo Silicone2 is rated at more than 300% compared with Daiwa’s previous products. The line is color-coded in five colors at 10-meter intervals, making it easy to use as a guide for determining the jig’s depth.

The lineup includes 600-meter spools in sizes PE 0.8 through PE 3, and 1,200-meter spools in sizes PE 1.2 through PE 2. Select the line size and spool length according to the reel’s line capacity, the expected fishing depth, and the overall tackle balance.
