DAIWA’s HRF GABURISHAD is a high-response shad-tail soft bait designed for rockfish fishing in general. Its tail is designed to quickly respond to water flow, making it suitable for horizontal presentations centered around a retrieve. In addition to Amino X, it contains garlic and shrimp ingredients, appealing to fish not only visually but also through scent. The 4.2-inch size can be selected when a more voluminous presentation is desired within the series.
A slit runs along the back, making it easy to align the hook point with the center and rig the bait straight on a jig head. With an offset hook, the hook point can be concealed within the slit to help reduce snagging. Recommended hooks for the 4.2-inch size are offset hooks in #2/0–#5/0 and jig heads in #5/0–#7/0. Use the slit to keep the bait aligned along its centerline, and take advantage of the tail action with techniques such as steady retrieves or a straight retrieve near the bottom.
