Daiwa Morethan Leader EX2

DAIWA’s morethan LEADER EX II TYPE-F is a fluorocarbon line designed for use as a leader in sea bass lure fishing, offering a balance of strength and ease of handling. Its finish is tuned for flexibility according to line size, providing smooth line handling and making it easy to build a complete line system, including connections to PE line. Made from fluorocarbon, it has a specific gravity of 1.78. The natural clear color helps minimize its visibility underwater, making it suitable for situations where a low-profile presentation is desired.

The spool includes a specially shaped spool band to prevent the line from coming loose during storage or transport. The line can be pulled out to the required length while the band remains in place, making the spool easy to handle when replacing the leader or retying. Available strengths are 12, 16, 20, 25, 30, and 40 lb, with approximate Japanese sizes of No. 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 12, respectively. The 12–25 lb sizes are supplied in 35 m spools, while the 30–40 lb sizes are supplied in 25 m spools, allowing you to choose the appropriate strength according to the lures and conditions of your fishing location. This model takes advantage of the characteristics of a fluorocarbon leader while also offering flexibility and portability.
