DAIWA’s SAMURAI METAL BEAT combines the action of a heavy-weight minnow and a metal vibration lure, adding a minnow-like swimming action to the casting distance and durability of a blade-style metal lure. Its distinctive stainless-steel lip maintains light retrieve resistance and a nearly horizontal swimming posture, while the lure is finished with a slim, compact silhouette. The combined wobbling and vibrating action produces tail swing and roll-like movement, making it well suited to situations with small baitfish or when fish are responding selectively.
Two line-eye positions are provided at the front and rear, allowing anglers to adjust the lure to the height of the fishing position, retrieve speed, and fish activity level. The front eye makes it easier to achieve a light, responsive retrieve with reduced resistance and also supports fast retrieves. The rear eye increases retrieve resistance and produces stronger vibration. The standard model measures 88mm and weighs 44g, and comes equipped with #6 treble hooks and #4 split rings. The long model measures 109mm and weighs 30g, and uses #8 treble hooks and #3 split rings, allowing anglers to choose between different silhouettes and weight balances.
