Daiwa Shore Jiggy Hook SS

DAIWA’s SHORE JIGGING ASSIST SS is an assist hook for shore jigging that combines the penetrating performance of a Saqsas hook with tinsel that enhances visual appeal and makes it easier for fish to inhale the lure. The hook features Saqsas fluorine-based special plating, which improves penetration compared with conventional coated hooks. A split ring is included as standard, making it easy to attach the assist hook directly to a jig. Sizes range from SS to LL, with the L and LL models designed for heavy-duty use.

The Short Single is designed for use as a jig’s rear hook and is suited to bites from fish that peck at the lure from behind, such as flounder, flathead, and red sea bream. The Twin is designed for targeting fish that are less adept at feeding or when bites are light. Both the Short Single and Twin are available in SS, S, M, L, and LL to match the weight of the jig used for shore jigging. The hook shape and assist-line configuration allow anglers to choose between a single rear-hook setup and a twin setup.
