Daiwa Emeraldas Fall

DAIWA’s EMERALDAS FALL LC RATTLE is an egi developed to combine a stable falling posture with excellent casting performance. Its voluminous body is equipped with a magnetically attached moving-weight system. During the cast, the weight shifts to increase casting distance, then, as the egi transitions into its fall after landing, the magnet locks the weight in place to stabilize its posture. The rattle makes a wide-ranging appeal during jerking, while the moving-weight system also supports a stable darting action. The fall rate is set to normal sinking, with a slightly slower speed that follows the characteristics of the original EMERALDAS FALL. The Super Sharp stepped hook, made with Japanese materials, is designed to provide both strength and excellent penetration.

The EMERALDAS FALL LC RATTLE TYPE S features the same magnetically attached moving-weight system and rattle mechanism, but is set to slow sinking, making it easier to target shallow areas and weed beds. The basic technique is to let the egi fall to the desired depth after casting, impart a darting action with jerks, then entice squid with another fall or a pause. Since the standard model and TYPE S have different fall rates, they can be selected according to the depth, current, and distance from weed beds.
