Jackson’s Deception is a versatile minnow designed to target a wide range of predatory fish from both boats and the shore. Developed as a lure for drawing fish out, the Deception 135 features a newly developed vortex generator designed to minimize variations in casting distance. It supports straight retrieves, jerks, and twitches, producing a sharp action with each technique. This is a sinking model with a maximum diving depth of 2 m.
The lineup includes the 135 mm, 23.5 g Deception 135 and the downsized 110 mm, 17 g Deception 110, which retains the action of the larger model. The Deception 110 is well suited to baitfish around 10 cm, such as kibinago and Japanese anchovy, and can be used with lighter tackle. The Deception 135 is equipped with #4 hooks, while the Deception 110 uses #6 hooks. Choose the model according to bait size and the tackle being used, then vary the retrieve range and action by combining jerks and twitches with a straight retrieve as the basic technique.
