Jackson’s Ocean Gate Boat SeaBass is a standard casting rod developed with a focus on ease of handling, allowing anglers to enjoy the various boat sea bass patterns available throughout the year. The lineup includes four models, each suited to different lures and situations—from delicate presentations with sinking pencils and minnows to surface attacks with big baits.

The blanks are constructed from 95% carbon fiber and 5% glass fiber, while the guides combine Fuji K guide frames with Alconite rings in a design intended for use with PE line. The JOG-S607ML BS is the lightest model in the series, handling small to medium-sized sinking pencils, minnows, and vibration lures, as well as soft-plastic techniques such as Freak Sets. Its delicate tip makes it easy to use for finesse fishing, such as boat rockfish. The JOG-S610M BS handles everything from small plugs to heavy metal blade lures and features a fast taper that is easy to control from steady retrieves to jerking techniques. The JOG-S702MH BS is designed for power fishing with big pencils, wake baits, heavy-weight minnows, blade jigs, and similar lures. The JOG-C65XXH BS is configured with a regular-fast action with a slightly loading tip, prioritizing big-bait control and ease of handling during fights.
