Jackson Gallop

Jackson’s Gallop series is designed around creating the weakened movement of baitfish as a metal jig falls. The representative Gallop Assist Fall Edition features sharp edges and a compact, thick-bodied profile, sinking with a fluttering action as it falls. After casting from shore, anglers can work through the water column primarily by allowing the lure to fall, combining retrieves and rod movements as needed.

The Gallop Baby is a downsized light saltwater model derived from the Gallop Assist Fall Edition. Despite its small body, it is designed to generate strong appeal during the fall. Intended for species such as horse mackerel, rockfish, juvenile trevally, and barracuda, it can cover a wide range of depths—even when the fish are moving between water layers—by casting, allowing the lure to sink, and retrieving it. Available in 3 g, 5 g, 7 g, and 10 g sizes, it uses a setup combining different-sized hooks at the front and rear. The 3 g model is fitted with treble hooks at both the front and rear, while the 5 g, 7 g, and 10 g models feature front and rear hook configurations matched to each size, making them suitable for light-game fishing that takes advantage of the falling action.
