ZIPBAITS’ ZBL Zoea LIPPLE 45F is a floating minnow designed to imitate a mass of krill by combining surface ripples created by its buoyancy with reflected light when targeting fish feeding on krill patterns. Its compact 45 mm, 3.0 g body features internal ribs. These ribs scatter light from sources such as streetlights inside the lure and spread it outward through a prism effect. The name LIPPLE combines Light, Ripple, and the prism effect created by the ribs.

Its high buoyancy creates ripples when the lure is allowed to drift near the surface, appealing to fish focused on krill. An internal Mag-Drive system provides casting distance while maintaining buoyancy, making it suitable for targeting offshore areas. The lure is primarily intended for retrieval, with pauses that allow it to rise and create surface ripples; it can also be drifted in response to changes in current and wind. It is fitted with original fluorine-coated #14 hooks and #1 split rings, creating a setup designed to help deal with short strikes.
