SASAME HOOKS, LTD.’s SHOUT! Twin Assist is a double assist hook for inshore jigging, featuring a “DOUBLE BARB HOOK” designed to maximize penetration during hooksets while reducing weight. The double barbs improve hook-setting response and hook-holding power, helping the hook catch securely in the target’s mouth.
The two hooks are set as a double, allowing them to support each other during the fight. PE line is used for the assist section, with the connection secured using a press ring and shrink tubing. Model 43-TA is available in sizes 1/0, 2/0, and 3/0, paired with 150 lb PE line for the 1/0 and 2/0 sizes and 200 lb PE line for the 3/0 size. It is designed to be attached to the front of a metal jig or a similar position, using the two hooks to handle strikes.
