C'ultiva’s MEBARU DAMA is a jig head designed with a focus on reliable hook penetration when targeting rockfish, while maintaining a balance that allows soft baits to swim naturally. It features an ultra-fine-wire hook, an eye designed to make threading thin line easier, and a head balance that produces a horizontal swimming action.

The head has a slim profile with minimal protrusions, making it less prone to snagging when worked through areas such as weed beds. The bullet-shaped section can be broken off to reduce weight, allowing adjustment according to the rig being used and the target depth. The soft bait keeper is a minimally wound thread keeper designed to reduce damage to the hook. In addition to retrieving the rig at a constant speed with the soft bait rigged, it also accommodates actions such as sliding, depending on the conditions. From the line eye and head shape to the hook and keeper, every component is configured with rockfish-oriented handling and hook penetration in mind. In addition to the standard model, the lineup also includes the glow type, “JH-83G MEBARU DAMA,” for situations where greater visual appeal is required.
