GAMAKATSU’s PLUGGIN' SINGLE WORLD RECORDER SINGLE ASSIST is an assist hook for plugs designed for targeting large fish, with an emphasis on excellent penetration and the strength to withstand prolonged fights. It uses GAMAKATSU’s highest-strength, high-rigidity hooks, combined with Zylon Knot assist line and a punched ring at the connection point with a breaking strength of over 300 kg. The single-hook design is ideal for situations where you want to change a plug’s hook setup from treble hooks.

Available in five sizes—7/0, 8/0, 9/0, 10/0, and 11/0—the 7/0 and 8/0 models use No. 70 Zylon, while the 9/0 through 11/0 models use No. 100 Zylon. Since the hook weight and assist-line size vary by model, you can select the appropriate size based on the size of the plug and the expected intensity of the fight. The official compatibility guide indicates the 7/0 as an approximate replacement for SP-XH 2/0, the 8/0 for SP-XH 3/0 and 4/0, and the 9/0 for SP-XH 4/0 and 5/0; the 10/0 and 11/0 models accommodate even larger setups.
