GAMAKATSU’s ONSOKU ROUND SNAP is a round-shaped snap designed with mobility in mind, making it less likely to interfere with lure action than the strength-focused ONSOKU POWER SNAP. Its shape provides the lure with a wide range of movement, while the wire diameter is one size thinner than that of the conventional ONSOKU POWER SNAP. Its lighter weight reduces the snap’s presence, helping bring out the lure’s natural action. This model is easy to use when prioritizing lure movement or rotating through different lures in tough conditions.
Available in sizes SS, S, M, and L, SS and S are intended for light-game fishing for species such as rockfish, trout, and bass, as well as eging. M and L are designed for use with medium to large lures targeting species such as sea bass and pelagic fish, as well as for eging. Depending on the position and shape of the lure’s eye, attachment may be difficult, so make sure the lure is correctly connected to the tip section. If the lure is caught on any part other than the tip, the snap may not deliver its intended strength and could open or break.
