Gamakatsu Treble 16

Gamakatsu Treble 16 is a treble hook for saltwater lures, designed for targeting large fish such as giant trevally and for battles with fish weighing over 20 kg. This model prioritizes the power needed to handle the powerful runs of large fish and is intended for situations where standard treble hooks may not provide sufficient strength.

Based on the shape of the Treble 14, it features super-heavy wire. Its robust construction is designed to withstand forces that attempt to open the hook, as well as loads that pinch around a fish’s mouth. When replacing hooks on large plugs and other lures, set them up while checking the lure’s size and weight, along with compatibility with the split rings. Available sizes include #1, 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0, allowing you to choose according to the size of your target fish and the lure being used.
