Owner Nage-waza Hook Hayagake Single

OWNER’s WH-01 Totsugi Hook Hayagake Single is a single assist hook designed for light shore jigging. Developed for use with Totsugi Jigs, it features a hook setup designed to preserve the jig’s original action as much as possible. The hook is thin, lightweight, and sharply shaped, with the sharpness needed to catch fish even when they are foul-hooked.

The hook features a “Hook-Reversing Flasher” designed to help prevent snags. By reversing the hook’s orientation, the flasher helps keep the hook point from facing obstacles when probing areas near the bottom. Its low-water-pressure design also reduces resistance in the water, including resistance from the hook and flasher, minimizing the effect on the jig’s action during use. Designed for use with the Totsugi Jig series, it is available in sizes 2, 1, and 1/0 to suit the jig size and fishing conditions. This model is ideal for shore jigging with lightweight jigs when you want to balance the jig’s action with hooking performance.
