OWNER Stinger Treble Hooks are designed to combine the strength needed for saltwater big-game fishing with reliable hooking performance. The ST-66 features extra-heavy wire and a flattened shank at the bend. It is built to withstand the bending and twisting forces generated when fighting large fish, while also helping prevent the hook point from bending inward when it sets around a hard mouth.

The hook point is precision-shaped with a two-stage taper. It provides the necessary strength while also offering easy penetration into the fish’s mouth. The flattened section at the bend helps hold fish securely after the hook sets and reduces hook deformation during intense fights. When using these as replacement hooks for large plugs, metal jigs, and similar lures, check the balance between the lure size and the weight of the standard hooks. The lineup also includes the STX-45ZN, which features a “corner” at the bend designed to press into and lock onto the fish’s flesh. The STX-45ZN weighs approximately the same as the ST-46 and is a Stinger Treble Extra designed with enhanced resistance to coming unbuttoned.
